Program overview

Hectar is the first Agri & FoodTech ecosystem in Europe.

Created in partnership with the HEC Paris Incubateur, Hectar acceleration program is supporting startups in 4 specific areas: AgriTech (AI, robotics, equipment), FoodTech (Food that respects biodiversity and waste management), Future Farming (Production in a controlled environment) and Regenerative Agriculture (Respect for the soil and carbon sequestration).

The diversity of the HEC Paris network and its broad entrepreneurial ecosystem will enable you to benefit from all the resources and support you need to make your project a success.

Programme

In just 3 months, find your customers and secure funding.

Bootcamp : Spend a day meeting fellow entrepreneurs in your cohort, building connections, and kicking off the program!
Bi-monthly check-ins with the accelerator team to tackle daily issues, understand your challenges, and connect you with the right experts.
Impact Day: A mid-program event at the Hectar farm, featuring one-on-one sessions with farmers, cooperatives, and potential clients.
4 Masterclass per year: Join all Hectar startups for conferences to learn from the successes and failures of various entrepreneurs.
Final Day: We gather one last time to reflect and exchange insights among entrepreneurs.

The journey continues beyond three months: gain access to resources and join an alumni community to exchange ideas and access essential information for your growth.

Eligibility criteria

The program is designed for entrepreneurs with innovative projects, specifically those who meet the following criteria:

You operate in one of the following sectors: Agritech, Foodtech, regenerative agriculture or controlled-environment agriculture.
You’ve already demonstrated your ability to grow and generate revenue.
You seek to scale up, benefit from tailored support, and access a network of mentors, partner companies, and investors.
